After years of ad hoc, charitable fundraising this year we have decided to nominate two chosen charities per year, dedicating our fundraising efforts to those causes close to the hearts of our employees and our community.
After much deliberation and voting, we are thrilled to announce that for financial year 2017 we will be focusing our efforts and pursuing wild and wacky fundraising tactics for both the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
In a series of fundraisers across the course of the year, to include a business and community bake sale, several team runs and a year-long charitable dress down Friday, we are set to raise well over £1000 for charity. We are further proud to announce that Manse Capital will be matching the teams’ donations, doubling the amount to be split between the two chosen charities.
We are so excited to be raising for such important causes in our local community and nationwide. Even with a small team of 26, we hope our efforts can really make a difference and not only raise the much-needed funds, but raise greater awareness and encourage community engagement with the inspiring work of the charities. Our team regularly entertain challenging races and we have several resident bakers who are bake-sale ready, so we are thrilled to know that the funds raised are going to charities doing vital cancer research and providing invaluable support to those individuals and families who are in need.
Katie Bell, Fundraising Managing at the Jane Tomlinson Appeal said, “We are delighted to have been chosen to be a partner charity of Manse Capital for the following year. Their support will help us to continue Jane’s inspirational legacy and make a difference to the lives of children and those affected by cancer.”
Jenny Jones, West Yorkshire Regional Fundraiser at the Yorkshire Air Ambulance comments, “We are thrilled that Manse Capital will be helping to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance over the next year. It would not be possible to keep both air ambulances flying, helping to save lives without the wonderful generosity of the people of Yorkshire, so for this we are very grateful.”
