Welcome Our New Financial Planners

Following on from successful growth in 2017, we have recently recruited two new Planners to work alongside our existing team of 5. This expansion is in response to steady company growth over the past year and continues our ambitious plans in looking to expand all operational departments and service capability over the coming years.

Mark Roe, previously a Financial Planning Analyst at Manse Capital, has taken the promotion to Planner just ahead of completing his final exams towards being a Chartered. Mark has been part of the team since 2015, following a 10 year career practising tax law at some of the UK’s top law firms and is now looking forward to sharing the Manse investment philosophy and ensuring great customer service with new and existing clients.

Mark Roe comments, “I’m delighted to be moving into an advisory planning role with Manse Capital, ‘doing the right thing’ by our clients and their other advisers. It’s an exciting time to be doing this: clients are increasingly aware of the need for genuine, professional financial planning based on what clients themselves want to do with their lives, and are turning away from ‘advice’ centred around product and fund sales. Manse Capital have been delivering this type of detailed planning for nigh on 15 years and it’s great to be a part of it!”

With over 8 years’ experience in financial services, Jill Parkinson will also be joining the team this year as our first female Planner. Jill has a wealth of expertise with a particular focus on estate planning and trusts, and will join to strengthen our service capability in the female advice market. Jill is keen to continue to develop the long-term relationships with existing clients and to encourage new client on-boarding through providing a truly independent financial planning experience.

Jill comments, “It’s great to be joining Manse Capital as they are growing and have ambitious plans in place for the upcoming years. I’m especially excited to be joining as their first female Planner and believe this will strengthen the offering to the female advice market. In my time as an Adviser I’ve supported numerous female clients with their financial planning, providing an easily understandable, jargon free service. I’m excited to be bringing this experience and expertise to Manse.”

Paul Everett, Managing Director of Manse Capital, said, “I am very pleased to welcome both Jill and Mark to the financial planning side of the Manse business. I believe that they will both be a great success, not least because they both have unique aspects and add a great deal to the Manse team and proposition. Jill as a female Planner is one of a growing, but still not large number, of ladies within the profession. Mark as a non-practising solicitor proves it is possible to make the career change and brings more credibility and gravitas to Manse. I wish them both luck – not that they’ll need it!”

With plans for further new recruits in place for 2018 and a continuation of the successful University placement year programme, we are set to have another busy year of growth ahead.
